If your computer spends a lot of time rebooting, freezing, or shows the 'Blue Screen of Death', it is possible that your Random Access Memory (RAM) is to blame. A replacement will be necessary. Follow these steps after purchasing a new RAM to replace.

  1. Locate the RAM on the bottom side of the laptop, the cover is secured by a 6 millimeter screw. Remove this with a Philips #1 screwdriver.

  3. Place your thumbs on two of the clips securing one board. Push outwards on the clips. This should pop the board up.

  4. Repeat on second board. When both are released, they should appear as they do in the picture.
