If you need to replace the SIM card of your Lenovo ThinkPad T480s laptop, follow this guide.
The SIM card or subscriber identification module works the same way in a laptop as it does in a phone. It identifies subscribers in a network and allows users to access a mobile hotspot on a particular cellular network.
If your SIM card is not working, you may not be able to connect to the network. Prior to replacing your SIM card, you may want to troubleshoot your problem on Lenovo’s troubleshooting page.

Insert the SIM eject bit or a paper clip in the hole of the SIM tray to eject it.

Remove the SIM tray.
