This guide will explain how to replace an ear cushion on the Mpow 059 Headphone. This guide can be used to replace both the right and left ear cushions of the headphones. After using these multiple times over a period of time, the ear cushion material will start to break down and you may want to replace them or you may need to remove them to complete other guides.

Really amazing
These instructions do not mention anything about the fact that you need a new adhesive to make the new earpads stay. Now I won't have headphones until I'm able to purchase an adhesive.
Works great. I have replaced my earpads 3 times with no glue. I use these MOKOS earpads from amazon. Replacement earpads for Mpow 059
Thanks for the step by step guide. I love these Mpow headphones, mostly for the controls on the right ear.
Per this Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytQSCxTP...
It shows the ear pad ring gets slipped under retainers on the black plastic ring that snaps off with the ear pad during the removal process, then snapped back on. The video shows no adhesive being used. Though you can use some if it makes you feel better. Probably use a rubber glue in case you ever want to remove them again. (FYI - The video shows the removal process as being much easier than it is, She probably removed it prior to filming and put it back to make the video move along more quickly. The guide provided in this page is more accurate as far as the removal taking some time and care) Unless the replacement pads you purchased doesn't have the soft ring at the base to slip around the retainers (not sure it that type exist) It shouldn't require adhesive.
You state the battery is behind the right ear cup, it was behind the left cup on mine. The picture shows "L".
