This is a relatively easy repair to make to your Q. Follow the prerequisite for removing the inner dome daughterboard to get started.

  1. Nexus Q NFC Antenna Replacement, Taoglas PU18 Wi-Fi Dual Band Antenna: adım 1, 1 resimden 1.

    • Squeeze and pull to pop the cap off of the Nexus Q.

    • Disconnect the taoglas Wi-Fi Dual Band Antenna by prying with a spudger.

    • Once the antenna is disconnected, simply pull it off the outside of the inner dome.

    • Undo the ZIF connector by prying with a spudger.

    • Use a T10 Torx screwdriver to remove the four 1.3 mm screws holding the inner dome in place.

    • Use a T6 Torx screwdriver to undo the three 0.8 mm screws holding the inner dome daughterboard in place.

    • Use a spudger to disconnect the daughterboard from the ZIF connector.

    • Use a spudger to pry out the NFC antenna.

    • The antenna has two layers; be careful not to pry the two layers apart.
