Use this guide to replace the front cover.

  1. Nikon Coolpix 7900 Front Cover Replacement, Back Cover: adım 1, 1 resimden 1.

    • Remove the four 3.0mm screws on the bottom of the camera.

    • Remove the two 3.0mm screws on the left side of the camera near the memory card compartment.

    • Remove the two 3.0mm screws on the right side of the camera.

    • Carefully open the back cover. Take care as there are connectors still attached.

    • Disconnect the cable by pulling the head upward along the green circuit board. If you only are changing the LCD, skip this step.

    • Disconnect the ribbon cable by grabbing the two handles and pulling it directly out of the socket. If you are only changing LCD, skip this step.

    • The back cover will be disconnected from the camera

    • Be careful of metallic parts which are loose and will fall out.

    • Remove the two 2.5mm screws on the bottom of the left side, after having removed the back cover.

    • Remove the two 3.0mm screws on the right side of the camera.
