TI-Nspire Battery Replacement

This guide will show you how to install batteries into a TI-Nspire calculator to ensure that it will turn on.

Face the side of the calculator with the "Texas Instruments" logo towards you, with the logo upright.
Slide the front cover down to remove it.

The calculator should be facing front with the screen on the top and the keypad on the bottom.
Hold the long side of the calculator on the right or left and turn it 180 degrees so that the back of the calculator faces you.
Make sure that the current side facing you is the back by checking that the side has a "reset" button.

Locate the area with a switch on the bottom half of the calculator. Make the sure the switch is on the left side of the switch area, which indicates that it is locked.
Slide the switch until it moves from the left side of the button area all the way to the right side.
Make sure to hear a click once you move the switch all the way to the right, which indicates the keypad is now removable.

Turn the calculator back to the front as you would normally use it.

Put your hand on the keypad, slide the keypad down about a half inch, and pull up to remove the keypad.

The batteries should be on the right and left side in the keypad area, with two on each side.
Place the tip of your finger in between the batteries, and remove the batteries. Repeat this for the other side as well.

When reassembling your device, use four new batteries.

Sonuç

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. If your calculator doesn't turn on, it could be that the keypad isn't connected properly. If so, refer to Connecting the Keypad.
