Start by power off your laptop and removing any charging adapters.

Then flip the laptop upside down so that the screws are right side up as shown.

Unscrew the following screws with a standard Philips screwdriver.

All screws are the same size but remember to keep track of screws as they are smaller than a standard household screw and are easy to lose.

Remove the highlighted panel from the laptop you can use a flat head screwdriver or your hands some light force maybe require but do not apply too much force as it may snap the panel.

Unscrew the highlighted screws then carefully lift the hard drive and caddy out of the slot.

Remember to take extra care when removing and handling as hard drives are very fragile.

Remove the screws on the side of the caddy and carefully slide the hard drive out from the caddy.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
