Tape the cured area with some painters tape.

It is optional to use the painters tape on a flat surface. The strip aids in molding the epoxy to precise curves.

Allow to dry for 30-45 minutes.

Before removing strip, lift and feel the epoxy, and ensure it is dry.

Once dried, slowly peel back the tape and shave off the dried excess with a putty knife.
