Turn shutter speed selector to 'Auto'.

Turn lock lever screw clockwise to loosen. Do not remove.

Lock lever screw is reverse threaded.

Push lock lever toward the needle indicator gear.

Turn lock lever screw counter-clockwise to tighten.

Locking the needle indicator keeps it in the proper position once the shutter dial assembly is removed.
