Locate the CD/DVD ROM drive. In order to recover an important disc from the drive, locate the manual release hole.

Insert paper clip or other small diameter object to engage the release mechanism.

Apply slow, steady pressure until the drive pops out. The ejection mechanism in the manual release hole is small. Multiple attempts may be needed to eject.
