Remove the pentalobe screws

  • Before starting this procedure, you should disable your Mac's Auto Boot feature. Auto Boot powers on your Mac when you open the lid, and may be accidentally triggered during disassembly. Use this guide to disable Auto Boot.

  • If your MacBook is running Big Sur v11.1 or later, disabling Auto Boot may not work. You can proceed normally, but make sure to disconnect the battery as soon as you're inside.

  • Completely power off and unplug your MacBook before you start. Close the display and flip the entire laptop upside-down.

  • Use a P5 Pentalobe driver to remove the six screws securing the lower case:

  • Two 6.7 mm screws

  • Four 3.4 mm screws

  • Throughout this repair, keep track of each screw and make sure it goes back exactly where it came from to avoid damaging your device.

Prima di cominciare questa procedura, dovresti disattivare l'Auto Boot del tuo Mac. L'Auto Boot accende il tuo Mac quando apri il coperchio e potrebbe avviarsi accidentalmente durante lo smontaggio. Segui questa guida per disattivare l'Auto Boot.

Se il tuo MacBook funziona con Big Sur v11.1 o successive, disattivare l'Auto Boot potrebbe non funzionare. Puoi procedere normalmente, ma assicurati di scollegare la batteria appena arrivi all'interno del laptop.

Spegni completamente e scollega l'alimentatore del MacBook prima di cominciare. Chiudi lo schermo e gira il laptop al contrario.

Usa un cacciavite Pentalobe P5 per rimuovere le sei viti di fissaggio del case inferiore:

Due viti da 6,7 mm

Quattro viti da 3,4 mm

Nel corso dell'intera procedura, tieni traccia di ogni vite e accertati che ritorni esattamente al suo posto per evitare di danneggiare il dispositivo.
