I decided to upgrade my iPhone and give my 6s to my sibling. I figured a new battery would be good, given that my 6s could no longer go a full day without the battery dying. In addition, this is the first time trying iFixit, as well as fixing a device. I've always been interested in tinkering and fixing devices, so I thought, "I have to start somewhere."

There were some rough spots, mostly trying to open the screen. But thanks to iFixit's guide, as well as other Youtube videos, my journey was successful. I was really impressed by how detailed this guide was, and I look forward doing more repairs with iFixit.

I think you can't go wrong with iFixit's guides and parts. They seem to be of high quality, and their guides are easy to navigate (especially if you're starting out like me). I really recommend you plan out and understand every step before starting your repair. I think it adds confidence, as well as assures you that you are doing it right.
