There are no visible screws anywhere on the outer shell of the Amazon Luna controller. Screw posts will be revealed after removing the front plate surrounding the face buttons and analog sticks.

The top plate is held down by several clips around the edge of the top plate. This plate needs to be removed by prying along the edge and separating the plate from the mid-frame.

With a flat spudger or a flat-head screwdriver, start at the bottom corner of the controller between the headphone jack and the handle, and carefully pry off the corner of the plate.

Once you have the plate starting to separate, take a coin pick, insert into a gap of the crease between the top and the handle, and carefully slide up and along the top of the handle, tilting the pick to pry off each clip.

Repeat this process, unbinding each clip around the top plate starting from the bottom near the handles up to the top of the Luna button in the top-middle of the controller. The plate will lift off when all the clips are undone.
