Hi, My phone seems to be fixed now. :-) It seems that cleaning the headphone jack is the best place to start. Use isopropyl alcohol and a Q-tip. I'm not sure exactly how I fixed it, but this is what happened: (1) I cleaned the headphone jack with alcohol and a Q-tip. (2) I cleaned the charging socket with alcohol. (3) It still didn't work after the cleaning operation. (4) I reset the phone, but it still wasn't working. (5) I got depressed :-) and gave the phone back to my wife. (6) 2 days later, the phone was working again. :-D I think the cleaning operation fixed the problem, but I'm not sure. The only changes that my wife made to the phone were setting the alarm clock and changing the ring tones. I hope that helps.
