Device becomes excessively heated to the point where the computer may shut down

When the drive powers on you should hear a whirling noise coming from the bottom of the computer. Computer is working, screen is not

Obtain Video Graphics Array (VGA) cable and plug into VGA or PC port to bottom left port and secondary monitor, then boot computer. You should be able to see the computer appear on secondary monitor. If this happens you must replace this part.

Move monitor at different angles to see if there is a loose connection. If that is the case then you will need this part.

Connection to USB devices stopped functioning

Test your USB device on another device to ensure that it is not the problem, and then try another USB port on your device. If it still does not work then re-install drivers by locating device manager in the start menu. Select "human interface devices", right click in the drop down menu and choose "update driver software". After it has installed restart computer.
