Echoing from the Microphone
The microphone is sensitive and it picks up the game audio. It also echoes back into speakers.
High Microphone Sensitivity
First check your microphone sensitivity through your gaming system settings. Look for the audio section in the settings if you have echoing problems then try lowering the sensitivity. After doing so, adjust it to your preference.
High In-Game Volume
Try lowering your in-game volume, as the mic may be picking up sound coming from the game audio. This could especially be the case if the audio is being outputted from a different source other than the headphones (for example, TV speakers).
Microphone is Faulty
If none of the listed fixes work, you will have to replace your microphone. Here is a link to our guide on how to replace it.
Speakers Not Playing Audio
When everything is powered on and plugged in, no noise is produced from headset speakers.
Loose Audio Cable Connection
Ensure that your audio plug is completely into the jack, a loose connection may be the cause for either both or one of the speakers to not produce audio. If it is plugged all the way in and the issue persists, try blowing into the jack to clean out any dust buildup that may be hampering the connection. Be sure to check that neither the jack or plug are broken, either.
Faulty Audio Cable
If the connection all seems to be fine, and the you can narrow the issue being down to the headset, not the device you are using. It could be that the audio cable is the problem. To test this, try to use another cable and see if the audio works or, if possible see if the audio control works to see if this is the problem. If replacement is the only option, follow our guide on replacing your audio cable.
Improper System Settings
Some devices/in-game settings may be set to have audio come out of a different output than the headset speakers, or only out of one speaker. Ensure that all settings on your game/device are set to have audio output from both headset speakers.
Broken Speakers
If nothing seems to be the issue, the speaker itself may have gone out. You will want to look into dissembling the headset and replacement the broken speaker.
Distorted Audio
Audio from the headset is fuzzy, muffled, or one of the ears are not outputting audio.
Liquid Spillage Onto Headset Speakers
There may be liquid that got into one of the ears of the headset, disrupting the output of the speakers, causing a crackling noise as it is interfering with the audio. Try to dry the headset off with a towel, or gently shake it to remove the water. You could also disassemble the headset and carefully dry off the speaker directly with a towel.
Poor Connection From Audio Plug/Cable
First, test to see if the issue is coming from your headset by testing the audio output on a different device, as it may be a fault in the device's audio jack not the plug of the headset. If the audio distortion or constant cutting out persists, be sure to check that your audio plug is not dirty/damaged as it may be hampering the connection, also check that the plug is fully connected when you plug it in. Also check for any damages across the entire cable as well.
