Caps C11, C36 battery connector

Hello all, I have a couple iPhone 4 boards that have the battery connectors pulled off. I wanted to fix them but, noticed that the 2 caps inbetween the gas and vbat. (c11 and c36) are missing. Is there a bypass for those or do they HAVE to be replaced for it to work properly. Thanks in advance for any advice. I would like to get at least one of these to work. Thanks!

Chris, looking at the rest of the circuit, yes I would replace those. If not, you could run into trouble with the power management IC or develop charging/power issues with your phone in general.
