It has only 4 Gb RAM @ 1067 MHz.
I would like to know if two 8 GB RAM cards @ 1600 MHz will work if I replaced the old RAM, ie. upgrading from 4 GB to 16 GB total RAM.
I also want to upgrade the speed of the modules from 1067 MHz to 1600 MHz as well. I know that the 1333 MHz RAM's work if one replaced both 1067 cards, so could two 1600 MHz cards work?

The max amount of memory your system can support is 8 GB (two 4 GB modules - PC3-8500 DDR3 1066 MHz).
The speed of the RAM modules can be faster but the running speed will only be what the systems memory bus runs at. In truth your just over buying, like buying premium gas when your car only needs regular.
