Hi, please i would like to know if there is any speed decrease or problems if i use this hard drive cable A1278 model 821-1226-A instead of 821-0814-A.
Macbook pro mid 2012 can use an old hdd cable , but i would like a confirmation that all will be good and there is no impact on performances,read/write datas speed etc...

Thank you sir , but this doesn't solve my problem,i would like to understand the role of this cable , and informations about different cable models if you have them ,thanks
We have test them and have no notice in decrease performance or issues running that cable as we have had a lot of troubles with the new cables failing a lot

Who is "we"?
They are different lengths, although some places will sell you the same cable for these two different part numbers. 821-0814-A is longer than 821-1226-A. I advise using the correct cable as extra stress on the cable will most likely mean it doesn't last as long as the correct one.
