I have recently noticed horizontal black lines on my iPod, it is about 4 years old now (definitely out of warranty) and i have virtually never dropped it. Any ideas as to what may have happened/how to fix it?

happened to me too but only with one album, what's up with that?

Bad Album art or different format. If the display works well with other images and videos, its the file.
