Replace Bluetooth module with unit supporting Bluetooth 4

I'm curious about doing the same to my MacBook Pro 17" Mid-2010. Did you attempt the replacement options? If so how did they work out for you? Did you buy from iFixit?

Unlike the MacBook Pro 15" 2010 models. The MacBook Pro 17" model uses an older WiFi and Bluetooth adapters (two independent adapters) unlike the dual AirPort adapter (WiFi with Bluetooth) used in the 15" model.

Basically there is no means to upgrade your system. Sorry
