screen will not come on after phone feel on floor

I had the phone charging about 4ft from the floor on an extension cord, went to close door, phone fell now screen does not come on. (Floor is had wood) I can hear a message come in. Pulled out battery and still nothing. Screen cracked a little top left corner, it had a screen protector and was sitting in the phone case
