Why is my laptop unable to read CD-disks?
When I load a CD-ROM into my disk drive my Toshiba Satellite device does not recognize the disk.

Hi,
You might want to try cleaning your CD ROM drive laser lens first and see if this solves the problem before you replace your drive.
