Battery pack might be dirty. Simply take out the battery and clean it with a soft cloth.

The lens cover on the camera may still be pushed up. Make sure the camera lens is visible and try powering on the camera again.

First, make sure the battery pack is inside the camera. Then make sure the battery is charged. Afterwards, try plugging the camera into an outlet and see if it powers on.
