The three logic boards carry different part numbers:

661-3543 2.0

661-3584 2.3

661-3585 2.7

the main problem for upgrade the Processor is the mother board for G4 PPC MDD models and could be the same issue for G5 PPC. But if you going to replace a faster one for a slow, should be OK!
