Is there a sensor in the cooling fan?
Concerning current Macs/macbooks with 4 wire pinout fan.
Is there a temperature sensor in the fan itself?

There would not be a temperature sensor in the fan. The fan doesn't get hot.

There is a tachometer sensor to measure the fans RPM.
