My screen is stuck in black display

So my laptop's screen won't go to the start up page. It's stuck in a black or grey display. I can't go to Safe Mode, Recovery Mode or any of that resets. HELP!:(

Can you give us a history of any problems the machine has had prior to this?

Do you get a POST Tone? What other sounds or lights do you get?
