Why is pressing the power button on my laptop not doing anything?
Pressing the power button on my laptop doesn't turn on the laptop. There is no response at all from the laptop.

It is possible that your motherboard is defective. This can happen from physical damage for example, dropping the laptop, or it could be a factory defect.
