Hi, Does it only happen if you are using a particular app?

Same happening with my Idol 4 6055k. It's just a few weeks old. Upgraded o/s recently but it wasn't of any help.

Something has happened to my Alcatel 1s. I put something on to save battery and my lock screens gone black and the three lines don't work anymore. I've tried to fix it multiple times but nothing works!!!

Hi abdul zarid.

Try resetting the phone with a factory reset and then use it this way for a while to see if it still happens.

If it still occurs you have a hardware problem and need to get it repaired or replaced under warranty.

If it doesn't happen anymore a downloaded app may be the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. You will have to uninstall each downloaded app one by one and then wait between each uninstallation to see if the problem is still happening. When it finally stops occurring the last downloaded app that you uninstalled will be the cause of the problem.

Before you perform a factory restore, backup the phone using the phone's backup feature, because a factory restore (or hard reset) will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its' last successfully installed OS default condition. Also ensure that the battery is fully charged, that the charger is not left connected to the phone and that the external SD Card (if any installed) is removed.

Use the phone's factory restore feature to restore the phone.

As mentioned above when restore is complete, use the phone in this mode to see if the problem re-occurs.

If it does see warranty above.

If after a suitable length of time it has not re-occurred (give it enough time to make certain that you are sure - it is annoying but unless you can make it happen this is the only way to do it.) restore the phone from the backup that you first made before doing the factory restore using the phone's restore feature.

Once the phone has been restored to its previous condition use the phone and see if the problem re occurs.

If it doesn't then the reset has fixed the problem.

If it does then see above regarding removing downloaded apps etc.

Basically the procedure is

Backup > Charge battery > Factory Restore > See if problem still happening, allow enough time

If yes > Warranty replacement or repair

If no > Restore using backup > See if problem still happening allow enough time

If no > Problem fixed

If yes > uninstall downloaded app one by one and test between each uninstall.

Once problem stops last app that was uninstalled caused the problem
