Water spill, keyboard and trackpad not working.
Hello Guys,
I have a Macbook Air 2015 A1465. (Not sure if it is Early or Late)
I just spilled water in the trackpad and suddenly it stopped working BOTH the keyboard and the trackpad.
The funny thing is that the KEYBOARD power button works and it boots :) (Crazy right?)
HOWEVER
I just opened it, saw that the trackpad connectors (actually all of them) it connects the keyboard, the trackpad with 2 flats, and one connectors that I GUESS connects everything with the MOTHERBOARD.
I used WD40 thinking that it would FIX IT. It doesn't..
My biggest doubt is do I need just to buy a new trackpad, since all the connectors (keyboard, trackpad, motherboard) and it will works?
OR
Do I need to buy also the FLEX CABLE that links everything to the motherboard?
AND/OR
a new keyboard also? (I am guessing that the keyboard is not the problem at all). Everything makes me think that the central connections from the trackpad was the thing that is broken OR only the flex that connects to the motherboard.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
How do I know the Apple Part Number?
I saw one trackpad from a Macbook Air 2011 it looks the same from both sides, but does it work? Does it need to be the exactly same part number, since it actually looks 100% the same?
Bu iyi bir soru mu?

Man, have this problem too. Not a macbook though I just sprayed some LCD Cleaner on it like I usually do but this time might've been too much :(
Just the worst time ever rn
