Keyboard replacement and battery

Hello,

I would like to replace the keyboard of my german MacBook Pro Retina 13" Early 2015.

But as I noticed from the guides in iFixit and other sources, I should disassemble most of the notebook in order to reach deep into the keyboard.

My question: should I disassemble the battery as well? Or can I leave it in place? Also should I disassemble the Force Trackpad?

Thanks a lot!

Unless you are a skilled technician I would advise not attempting this procedure. I have done this repair on a water damaged machine I believe that I did remove battery to completely get to the keyboard: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Upper Case Replacement

The English-German skin I recommended in your previous question should be given a try first in my opinion.

That keyboard uses pegs for the most part. Here's is video on it being replaced if you decide to go ahead with it.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e96zY4c6...

Can confirm you need to remove the battery and trackpad plate to replace the keyboard (covers bottom); you don't need to remove the actual trackpad

No, the trackpad does not need to be pulled.

I have the same issue, I have a MacBook pro 13' retina 2015, and some keys aren't working well. I would like to know if I need to take off the battery, to replace the keyboard. Thanks

Yes, the battery overlaps the keyboard.
