My tablet is not charging. It will show it's charging when it's plugged in. When I take it off the charger it's only charged 9%,and that's after it's been on the charger for a couple hours. What is causing this and can it be fixed. I bought this brand new and I've only had it maybe 6 months.

There is a 1 year limited manufacturer's parts and labour warranty on the tablet.
I suggest that you consult the warranty statement contained in the User Guide that came with the tablet as to what you have to do to make a claim for a warranty repair or replacement.

Looks like need to replace the battery, battery life depends on recharge cycles not entirely how much time you have used .
