How To Reset Belkin Wireless Router To Factory Settings?
My belkin wireless router is not working properly. I want to reset my router password can any one guide me in easy way ?

If you cannot open it. Look at the back, near the ports, for a reset button. Hold button for 15 secs. Then wait for a minute.
Other Methods
Go to terminal (Window key + r) and type ipconfig to pull up your IP Address OR type ip address on your browser (google i.e.) and it will show your ip. Type that in a browser and it should grant you access to your router unless you locked it. You can go into the settings and run factory Reset.
Manual reset is a easier.

You should also go belkin's website and see if there is an updated firmware and install it if available.
^fact.
If it does give you a difficult time doing the update, you should be able to download it off their website and manual update it by access the router via browser.

There is two way to reset
1. Hard reset
2. Soft reset
Hard Reset:-
- Find a reset button on the device.
- Generally hidden back of the router.
- Use Paperclip to press the button.
- Press it for approx 10 to 15 second.
- Release the button and restart it.
- Now your router is ready to connect.
Soft Reset:-
* For this you need to check that is your computer is connected with network or not.
- Once connected. Open a web browser and type your router IP address.
- For belkin it is 192.168.2.1
- This will open a belkin setup page.
- Use the username and password.
* Once you logged in.
- you found a option with labele Reset Router.
- Select it and router will have cycled or under go in the process of resetting.

- Type the default IP address ‘192.168.2.1’ and press ‘enter’. You will be directed to a web page.
- Click ‘login’ on the upper right corner of the page.
- Enter the username and password, and submit.
- Click on the Utilities section and click restore factory defaults.
- On ‘click restore factory defaults’ option, you have to ‘select restore defaults’ option.
