1 Trying to reinstall ribbon to keyboard
i had to take laptop apart and now trying to put ribbon from keyboard back in place

Make sure the black'tab lock' is pulled out then slide the ribbon back in and push the lock back to secure the ribbon. On some motherboard the ribbon can look to be in place but when pulled it will come back out. The ribbon should be on top of the lock and between the 2 end tabs.
