Why cant I hear any sound from the speakers?
The speakers (BOTH) on my Toshiba Satellite A505 stop working. What should I do?

Can you hear audio when using a set of headphones connected to the laptop?
If not check the status of the sound controller in Device Manager.
Also check the sound options in control panel > Sound to ensure that you haven't muted the audio etc.
What OS is installed in the laptop?

Check device manager if the sound drivers are not running or disabled.
try to turn it on using software and check for updates of the drivers if hardware error is shown the speakers are faulty else it can be treated while installing and configuring updates.
