Logic board component iPhone 8

Unfortunately, there is no available schematic for the iPhone 8. However, looking at an iPhone 8 I have on the bench, I can confirm that it is a capacitor and that it is likely used for decoupling/bypassing. It’s connected to the edge of the connector and looking at the iPhone 8 Plus schematic, this is typically a PP1V1 line. So it’s not really a cap that HAS to be replaced.

Obviously, if you have the cap in hand, you could measure it with an LCR meter and determine it’s capacitance and then order something appropriate from DigiKey. However, if the component is missing entirely, you can safely run the phone without it.
