How do I find the model from the number on the back
I have a friends Kindle Fire and I don’t know what model it is. The number on the back is 3ht7g. the problem is the touch screen won’t respond.

According to this website, it is a Kindle Fire HD 8.9” 4G LTE tablet.
Searching online for a Kindle Fire HD 8.9” 4G LTE digitizer confirms the model number is 3HT7G, but unfortunately most say “currently sold out” or “out of stock”. You may have better luck.
You could also try connecting a USB mouse via an appropriate OTG (On the Go) cable -example only and use it to navigate through the tablet to find the model information.
I have read that some Kindle Fire HD tablets have OTG capability. Just a thought.
