The SMC thermal sensor must be damaged on this logic board. At this point I think it would be smart to get a replacement logic board as this one is damaged.

Did you apply a fresh coat of thermal paste on the CPU/GPU chips? If you did what thermal paste did you use and are you sure you didn't over do it or damage the logic board in the process?

I don't think damaged the board as I was very cautious during the repair. The board is new from IFIXIT so maybe I will see what they say about a warranty board. The thing works fine once I get the fans under control.

Thanks again

Did you put back the HD thermal sensor onto your SSD? Review Step 20 in this guide iMac Intel 24" EMC 2134 and 2211 Hard Drive Replacement Transfer it to your SSD drive and reconnect it that should fix things.

I did. First thing I double checked was wires to that and fans. Positive it worked perfectly before new logic board.. so it definitely something I did or something with the board.

What does the onboard diagnostics tell you and I think you'll need to install TG Prto s you can see whats happening. Paste a snapshot of the main window here for us to see, you may need to enlarge it bit to get all of the sensors to show up. Adding images to an existing question

That is what I get shortly after startup.

Thanks so much for your help.

The CPU fan is running hard, so we either have a miswired fan or the thermal sensor is not connected. Recheck your connections
