Is a 4S logic board compatible with 4?
I was wondering if the board from the iPhone 4S would be compatible with my iPhone 4. I’m not completely sure, so I’m coming to the amazing community for help!

No , every Smartphone has its own BIOS system , its own connectors and its own architecture. To answer your question it's No , and if you do it , your phone won't boot as it won't recognize the boot sequence of the new logic board.

So, even with a FULL board replacement, the phone won't function?
Unfortunately not. I’m sorry there are iPhone 4 unlocked logic boards available on eBay not sure what the prices are but I think that’s your best shot

I have a friend that has a 4S, could I try and do it? I think that they might.
It might work but if you look at both of them the screw holes wont match up so you wont be able to screw it in. Even if it does work i don't recommend it as a long term option.
