I have a minimized keyboard!

I do not know how I did it, but I somehow managed to shrink my keyboard. I have hunted and tried so many different ways to fix it, and have found nothing. HELP!!!! I want to get back to regular size across the bottom of my screen. Oh yeah, I forgot,, I use my tablet with the keyboard detached.

Greatful for any help.

Hi,

On Android systems there are usually options available when you long press the spacebar on the keyboard.

  • Go to regedit (type regedit into start menu and run as admin)
  • Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7 “
  • Double click on “DisableNewKeyboardExperience “ DWORD key
  • If its set to 1, switch it to 0 ; if it is set to 0 switch it to 1

Oh and either restart explorer (or whole tablet) after changing this key
