Vertical coloured lines on Toshiba TV

Hi, my niece tv has a band of coloured vertical lines on the right side of the tv along with a couple of horizontal lines along the bottom of the screen. The tv is only 2 months old. I have been in touch with Toshiba and sent them photos and they are saying it’s not a manufacturing fault and that it has happened externally. My niece said the lines just appeared and there is no visible damage to the screen itself. I’m would really appreciate a second opinion before I go back to Toshiba. The model no is 43U5863DB.

Should also add that the vertical lines do not reach all the way to the bottom of the screen. They seem to start from and reach around a black dot about 2cm from the bottom of the screen.
