How to retrieve data on SSD part of a fusion drive?

Hello everyone

Am I able to extract the SSD part of the Fusion Drive (I believe is attached to the logic board)? To retrieve whatever data is on it by purchasing an external adapter / case and connecting it to another iMac? My logic board is completely shot so I need to retrieve all the data inside the SSD

Thank You in advanced

The blade SSD in a Fustion Drive set is quite small and is setup as a cache drive Vs a data drive. Basically, the more highly access files, the OS and mostly apps are held within it. So salvaging it won’t offer that much that you can’t recover during a re-install of your OS and apps.

Here’s the guide to get to it iMac Intel 27" Retina 5K Display Blade SSD Replacement and OWC does offer a case so you can install your SSD into.

But before we go down this path how about telling what’s happened. And what you are hoping to recover.
