Nicks on MBP square edges!
My brand new 2019 MBP (not 2 mos.old) already has a nick! (Poor design IMHO). What't best method to remove nicks? Dremel tool? Dremel tip type?

Ouch! So something dropped on the edge.
A nail-file can take the burr off so it doesn’t snag your cloths or case liner. It won’t look pretty as you will be taking off the finish. Some snap-over cases can hide the sin, skins tend not to cover over the edges.

Thanks! For the life of me, I can't figure out how this happened, it never leaves the house. A case might be good, the space gray is kinda ugly anyway. Any suggestions a "snap-over" case?
I'm hoping someone's tried a specific dremel tool tip that does mimimal damage vs a fatter hand file.
A sledgehammer is great for taking down a wall but is useless to hang a picture on the wall ;-}
I think you're over doing the tool, a simple 25¢ nail file from the corner drugstore is all you need. The elevation of the material pushed out is what you want to knock down. When you press down on a bucket of sand the sand around your tool or hand will push up this is the same here the soft aluminum. A dremel tool will take too much material away and has the risk of skating across as its likely to grab making more of a mess. Trust me I know!

I would be very careful here! You don't want to use any abrasive cleaner or tool as you'll remove the anodized finish.
How about posting a few pics so we can see what you are facing Adding images to an existing question
