Can you replace the screen?

It is possible to replace the LCD screen.

Scroll to p.48 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the LCD panel.

According to the Lenovo parts lookup page for your model, there are two LCD panels compatible with your model. Both are non-touch LCD panels. Click on Select commodity, then scroll down and click on the LCD panel checkbox

They are listed below

a) LM230WF9-SSB2 GD part # 01AG962

b) LM230WF9-SSB1 SR part # 01AG964

The part number for your panel should be shown somewhere on the back of your panel. Check the number to verify which one you have.

Once you have determined the correct part number, search online using the part number only in the search term of your browser, to find suppliers of the part. They are not cheap.
