Where can I get a Moto G Power screen repair kit?
Brand new G Power, fell out of pocket, 30 inch drop while seated and cracked the lower left corner of the screen. Can any one point me to a screen kit?

The only place that I could find a replacement screen is Mobile Defenders. They are certified Motorola parts dealers however like a lot of the other suppliers, they don’t have them in stock atm. https://www.mobiledefenders.com/catalogs...

what about a used cell and u scavenge used but operational parts off of the used cell; much like a car salvage yard? There must be a testing protocol for what's not working on your specific phone so apply those same tests to determine the working level of those used cells, parts.
I managed to find one from a vendor/site that I've not had any experience with until now. It turns out the site and the part are both legitimate; “SkyStarTrade” as names go, doesn't inspire much confidence, but I ordered on a Sunday, chose priority mail (USPS), and had it in the mailbox on Wednesday.
Also worth noting is that the g8 power and g power are, at least for the display, the same or compatible both ways. Mobiledefender, listed in the other answer, has two products… for two prices (?) Most likely, I'm missing something, and would appreciate it if someone could educate me.
Be careful of proximity/ambient light sensor (?) when removing broken screen; should have taken pics while in process, but it is between camera hole and earpiece, almost directly so — built into the midframe, see flex contacts on inside of midframe for a better idea

Does the screen you ordered from SkyStarTrade actually fit your Moto G Power? I've ordered a screen replacement from eBay that claims it was cross compatible between the Moto G8 Power (XT2041-4) and Moto G Power (XT2041DL), but when I went to install it, it was a few mm too short inside the frame..
Please let me know asap. I will order it from them if it fit your Moto G Power!
Yes; if I try hard enough I can see points of light through the top and bottom at certain angles. I'm about to put some adhesive on it, I'll edit this comment with the results, maybe also some pics
Darn, I was hoping it'd fit like oem, but I'll wait to see your pics. It sounds like it's the same model of the one I ordered but decided not to use.

The top was a perfect fit, but as you can see in the pic there's a pretty big gap at the bottom.
I took my G power swimming for 20 minutes. Didn't realize it until I got out of the water. I put it in a vacuum chamber and saved the phone, but the screen has slight cloudiness and only gets half as bright as it should. I've been searching for a replacement too. I've come to the conclusion that any screen made for a G8 power is not going to fit the G power. While on paper the screens are the same, the phones are slightly different in physical size, and because of this there has to be 2 different screens, one for G8 power, and another (impossible to find at the moment) for the G power. Many screens on ebay and Amazon claim to fit the G power, but they also list that they fit the G8 power, and this is going to cause problems for many people, especially since you may not realize the very slight difference (non fit) until you've already attempted installation, meaning you then can't return the part on top of all the wasted time and frustration. The G8 power screens are abundant as that is the the non-US model. The G power (US model) is slightly taller and will need a different screen, despite the claim on these for sale sights saying a screen will fit either phone. Hopefully our G power screens will be available soon.

As noted in the OP, Mobile Defenders has the complete display assembly specifically for the Moto G Power (XT2041-4) for $59.99, but currently availability is about 2-3 weeks (10/3/20 as I write this). You can find it at https://www.mobiledefenders.com/mobile-p...
I’ve also heard that Motorola will swap the phone for a factory reconditioned/warranted unit for $149, fwiw. Of course, you can also buy a new one now for $229 (Best Buy, Walmart, etc).

This is currently the ONLY place online that anyone can get screens for these phones. I had to wait over a month to get my order in for mine.

Fwiw I had a moto g power 2021 and even square trade/Allstate (warranty purchased from Walmart ) won’t attempt a repair….they issued me a check to basically purchase a new device. I guess it’s too new? The battery is killer on this phone doh lol.

Hi and thank you - unfortunately nothing is showing up for just a plain “G power” I see screens for G8 G6, G7, but nothing for this (as I understand it) brand new model.

I had my Motorola G Power for less than a week and the cellphone slipped out of my pocket when I sat down and my screen shattered at a very short distance…. I'm surprised that the glass is so weak! You would think that in 2020, with our level of knowledge and technology advancements, they would've incorporated some kind of safe guards into the design scheme….??
