J key not working

When replacing my optical drive I inserted the wrong screw into the slot towards the middle of the notebook it was a little difficult to screw in but did not feel like anything was breaking. When turning my MacBook back on I noticed my J key does not work. Do I need to replace the entire keyboard or is there something else I can try?
