im looking to buy a eee pc (ifixit did not have the model i want the eee pc 1005ha) but the problem is i have 2 4gb ddr3 ram sticks that are not being used and the eee pc im looking to buy just has 2 gb and i dont have info of if it suports ddr3 or even 4 gb of ram
does someone know?

The specifications don’t state what the maximum memory for the netbook is but looking at the parts for the laptop (click on category > memory) it shows that there are only 1GB and 2GB DDR2-800 (PC2-6400) modules available so perhaps you already have the maximum installed. Just a thought.

According to the official specs from ASUS, the eeepc 1005HA supports only DDR2, but there is no amount. The eeePC 1000h also supports DDR2 up to 2GB. I think, this 2GB is the maximum for the eeePC 1000 series.
