Can anyone tell what is the problem of my MBP based on this diagnose.

I can switch on the MBP, but I need to press power button twice and hold it until the chime sound to turn it on. Once it turns on, it works just fine, except the fan now is gradually running to full speed although I did not perform anything on the system, even if i boot into recovery mode, the fan will gradually run into full speed.

I noticed that the memory slot temp is quite high, at 90C, so maybe that is the reason the fan run at full speed. I did run this command at the terminal “log show --predicate 'eventMessage contains "Previous shutdown cause"' --last 24h“ and the result is -79, which has something to do with the battery, that is something related to extra current. I did try to remove the battery and switch it on but the problem still exist.

A quick glance at system report shows that the battery cycle is just 249, and the battery is in normal condition and the battery age is 2200 +- days.

Sleep function also did not work. Once i close the lid or put the MBP into sleep mode, I will need to press power button and hold it to turn it on.

Upon checking, the reason it switch off is also -79. Please advice whether this has something to do with logic board, or the battery or something else.

One thing for sure is this is not software related problem. I attached herewith the screenshot of my diagnostic, please help. TQ

Your error report makes it clear your logic board has an issue with the power rails.

Did you have a liquid spill into the system or sit the system down on a wet surface?

@danj thank you for your diagnosis. There’s no water damage in the system, I can guarantee that. On the day that I discover the problem, I was plugging the power adapter to an extension plug, in which sparked some current when I switched the plug on. Upon inspection the extension plug do have some problem, and most probably because of that spark, it fry some parts of the logic board.
