Cracked Pitcher replacement?

I recently noticed sevrral cracks in my ninja blender pitcher which was a surprice as I only hand wash after each use . This blender is less than a year old so I was wondering if you could mail a replacement pitcher. I thought the cracks weren't bad but the fluid has started leaking out everytime I use it.

As @jayeff stated in the first answer to this question, iFixit is not a Ninja dealer and does not carry Ninja parts. If it's under a year old, check with Ninja regarding a warranty claim; otherwise you'll need to buy one. Ninja sells them directly to the public.

Hi,

ifixit is not a parts supplier for Ninja products and does not any carry parts for a Ninja Blender.

If the blender is less than 12 months old, check what the manufacturer's warranty says about replacing defective components. Usually the manufacturer’s warranty statement can be found in the user guide that came with the blender.

You will have to contact Ninja’s customer service section as per the warranty guide, about getting any replacement parts, either under warranty or perhaps not as they may deny any warranty claim as they may say that the damage was caused by the user. You can only ask.

I owned three Ninja blenders and each one of them developed cracks in the pitcher. I like the power of the blender but the plastic pitcher is poorly designed. I bought one with a glass pitcher and will never go back to Ninja!

On my third pitcher in two years. Ninja has replaced them. Very poor design. Motor torque causes the pitcher to develop hairline cracks.

I thought the same thing until I bought my third one about 6 months and it had the same cracks in it . This is a flaw in their design and I will be contacting them with the hopes that they have a redisign and a recall.

Good to know. I have been frantically searching for a replacement pitcher as I just noticed cracks in my blender today. I purposely bought a Ninja because I believed them to be of higher quality than the ones I have purchased in the past. Turns out, they crack just as easily. The blender is less than 6 months old and believing this to be the one for life, I threw out all the warranty details. Thanks for the information though.

I too purchased a Ninja blender thinking they are supposed to have great quality, only to find out after about 20 uses, NO drops, and hand washing, there is a crack going across the bottom of the pitcher and it is leaking. From reading many reviews I see it is a poor design and most likely cracks from torque, which makes sense as it is across the black piece where the blades connect to inside. I contacted Ninja and was told that even though it is only several months old, the pitcher is NOT covered under their warranty. Probably because they know they crack under regular use! I threw away a $30 glass blender I got at Walmart that I used for 3 years with NO issues, to get this expensive one because I thought it would be better. I’m going back to a glass one and will never buy anything from this company again considering they have poor customer service.

Mine is cracked also with only hands washing, haven't used it more than a couple dozen times. Totally bogus for such an expensive, albeit effective, machine. Definitely from torque stress based on the location of the cracks. It looks like they won't replace it, so I'm going worth JB weld! Hopefully it will do the trick.

@drbobbi

Allow it to fully cure before placing any food in the pitcher.

Most 2 part expoxies are food safe but only once they have fully cured.

Follow the directions on the label to know how long to wait.

I put silicone on mine, the waterproof boat silicone, and it is holding up so far. Would really like to get a replacement though.
