Samsung j2 charging problem

Just verifying that you tried a different, compatible known working charger, charger cable or connected the phone to a computer and also visually inspected the charge port using a strong light and a magnifying glass to check if the port was blocked with lint etc preventing a good electrical connection, to prove that the charge port may be the problem, as you didn’t say? If the port is blocked then try using a vacuum cleaner to suck out the debris. Do not use a metal pin or probe to get it out as you may damage the pins.

If you have checked all the above and determined that it may be the charge port then here’s a video that shows how to replace the USB port The supplier linked is an example only to show the part and cost. You will need smd soldering skills and tools to do the repair.
